Nhật Bản - Hải Phòng Industrial Park

I. LEGAL INFORMATION AND LOCATION OF NOMURA INDUSTRIAL PARK - HAI PHONG

Nomura Industrial Park - Hải Phòng was established on December 23, 1994, according to Investment License No. 1091/GP of the State Committee for Cooperation and Investment, as the first industrial park with direct foreign investment in the Northern provinces and also one of the first industrial parks of Hải Phòng. The project is invested by Nomura Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company - Hải Phòng (a joint venture between the City of Hải Phòng and Nomura Holdings INC from Nhật Bản).

On July 25, 2022, Nomura Holding, INC. transferred the entire 70% stake in Nomura Asia Investment (Vietnam) Pte. Ltd (NAIV), equivalent to 70% of the shares in Nomura Industrial Park - Hải Phòng, to PC1 Group Joint Stock Company. After that, Nomura Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company - Hải Phòng was renamed Nhật Bản Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company - Hải Phòng. At the same time, Nomura Industrial Park - Hải Phòng was renamed Nhật Bản - Hải Phòng Industrial Park in Decision No. 412/QD-UBND dated February 14, 2023, at the request of the new investor.

The initial investment project to build Nomura Industrial Park had a land use scale of 353 hectares, which was later adjusted down to 153 hectares according to Official Dispatch No. 2628/TTg-KTN dated December 22, 2014 of the Prime Minister, with a planned location in An Dương district, Hải Phòng city with a total investment of over 140.8 million USD. The total area of industrial land for lease of the project is 123 hectares, and the area of ​​common infrastructure is 30 hectares.

II. INFRASTRUCTURE SYSTEM OF NOMURA INDUSTRIAL PARK

Internal traffic roads: are from 20m - 30m wide, covered with asphalt concrete with construction standards that ensure traffic conditions in the industrial park, including goods with large loads. At the same time, the traffic routes are arranged with medians, sidewalks and green trees on both sides of the road along with a lighting system with a distance of 20 m per pole.
Power supply system: Nomura IP has invested in building an independent 110kV/22kV transformer station with a maximum capacity of 50 MW, 22kV power lines are laid underground along traffic routes to each plot of land in the industrial park, ready for connection according to investor requirements.
Water supply system: clean water is taken from Vat Cach water plant, with a water supply capacity of 13,500 m3/day and night, connected in the form of branches through pipes with diameters of 110-160-280 mm to the foot of the fence of each factory in the industrial park.
Wastewater treatment system: all wastewater at Nhật Bản - Hải Phòng Industrial Park is collected for treatment and will be pre-treated at each factory to meet the reception standards before being discharged into the industrial park's centralized wastewater treatment system and is further treated and discharged into the environment. The capacity of the wastewater treatment plant is up to 10,800 m3/day and night with microbiological treatment technology from Nhật Bản.
Information and communication system: Inside Nomura Industrial Park, the communication center system is known as "Nomura Post Office" with the ability to provide and meet the needs of more than 50 investors operating in the industrial park with services such as domestic and international parcels and packages, authorized postal services, EMS, Vnquickpost, UPS, DHL and a range of other postal and telecommunications services
Other infrastructure utilities: Modern fire protection system with a fire protection team and full fire protection equipment such as fire trucks, protective gear, vehicles always in good condition and a water supply system that is regularly inspected and upgraded periodically; Rainwater drainage system is arranged independently from the wastewater collection and treatment system
