Xuân Trường Industrial Park was first included in the construction planning of Xuân Trường district, Nam Định province, in Decision No. 1732/QĐ-UBND dated August 01, 2017, of the People's Committee of Nam Định province with a planned area of 199 ha. On December 28, 2023, the Prime Minister issued Decision 1729/QĐ-TTg approving the planning of Nam Định province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, in which Xuan Kien Industrial Park Phase 1 was included in the development plan for industrial parks by 2030. Xuan Kien Industrial Park Phase 1 is on the list of industrial parks in the plan but not yet established with a planned area of 100ha. At the same time, Xuan Kien Industrial Park Phase 1 is also on the list of priority projects to be implemented by Nam Định province in the period 2021 - 2030. Therefore, it can be seen that the infrastructure development project of Xuan Kien Industrial Park phase 1 is a strategic project of Xuân Trường district in particular and Nam Định province in general.
Following the instructions of the Prime Minister's decision, Nam Định province has implemented programs and policies to attract investors interested in developing and doing business in Xuan Kien industrial park infrastructure. As of January 25, 2024, in Decision No. 238/QĐ-UBND of the People's Committee of Nam Định province, Xuan Kien Industrial Park Phase 1 is on the list of projects that investors are interested in. Currently, Nam Định province is still urgently carrying out the procedures for planning and attracting infrastructure investors for the Industrial Park in parallel. The latest information will continue to be updated by KLAND in the near future.
