Overview of Phú Bài Industrial Park – Thua Thien Hue

Phú Bài Industrial Park was established under Decision No. 1144/QD-TTg dated December 22, 1998, of the Prime Minister; is the first concentrated industrial park to be exploited early and effectively, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of Thua Thien Hue province. The IZ has been invested in complete technical infrastructure; has many favorable conditions in terms of transportation and labor; has a wastewater treatment plant, bonded warehouse and place to carry out customs procedures to serve on-site import and export needs.

Thua Thien Hue province encourages investors to produce and process industrial products in the fields of: processing agricultural, forestry and aquatic products, manufacturing machinery, electronics, information technology, fibers, textiles and garments... and manufacturing equipment and components to serve the above industries.

Geographical location of Phú Bài Industrial Park

Phú Bài Industrial Park has a total area of over 800 hectares belonging to Phú Bài Ward, Hương Thủy Town, Thua Thien Hue Province, located about 15 km from the center of Hue City; next to Phú Bài International Airport; located along National Highway 1A and the North-South railway; 40 km south of Chan May deep-water seaport and 15 km north of Thuan An seaport.

Electricity supply:

The industrial park has 2 110/22KV transformer stations with a total capacity of 50 MVA.

Water supply:

The D50 water supply pipeline system serving the IZ is supplied by the Phú Bài water plant with a capacity of 15,000m3/day and night.

Communication:

Telephone, television, Internet network,... are convenient, can be contacted directly internationally, high-speed ADSL Internet transmission has widespread coverage and uses underground cables

Drainage system:

The drainage system is installed along internal traffic routes to ensure the collection of all rainwater and wastewater from factories in Go Dau Industrial Park.

Wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 6,500 m3/day and night.

There is 01 Fire and Rescue Police Department in the IZ with 3 fire trucks and many fire hydrants on the roads
