Cái Mép INDUSTRIAL PARK - BA RIA - VUNG TAU PROVINCE

I. Overview of Cái Mép IP

Cái Mép Industrial Park was established under Decision No. 399/2002/QD-TTg dated May 10, 2002, of the Prime Minister with a scale of 670 hectares in Phước Hòa commune, Tân Thành district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, now Phước Hòa Ward and Tan Phuoc, Phu My town, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, the operating term of the IP ends on May 10, 2052

On October 27, 2005, the Ministry of Construction approved the Planning of Cái Mép IP under Decision No. 2005/QD-BXD. Accordingly, the area of industrial land for lease on the total area of the whole area is 462.5352 ha, the goal is to attract investment in projects in heavy industries that need specialized ports such as: gas and oil processing industry; metallurgy; mechanical engineering industries; sea transport services; food processing
Cái Mép Industrial Park has a very convenient location in terms of transportation:
+ Adjacent to Mo Nhat, Cái Mép, Thi Vai rivers, adjacent to Rach Ong
+ The north is adjacent to Phu My II IP
+ Adjacent to Cái Mép deep-water port
+ 47 km from Long Thanh International Airport
+ 70 km from Ho Chi Minh City and 40 km from Vung Tau City

II. Infrastructure of Cái Mép IP

Power supply system: Production electricity in Cái Mép IP is supplied through 110KV/22KV lines connected from the national grid

Water supply system: Clean water is supplied from Toc Tien water plant through D300-D500 pipes

Wastewater treatment system: According to the design, the IP has two wastewater treatment stations in the North and South areas with treatment capacities of 7500 m3 and 5500 m3/day and night, respectively. Phase 1 of the wastewater treatment system of the Northern Subdivision has been put into operation with a capacity of 4,000 m3/day and night, capable of treating wastewater with input standards reaching column B according to Vietnamese environmental technical regulations

Internal traffic system: The main and branch roads in Cái Mép IP are 19.5 m, 24m, 35m wide, designed with multiple lanes, well meeting the transportation capacity in the area

Industrial gas supply system: Gas supply system is available for customers who need to use gas

Other infrastructure utilities: The rainwater drainage system is designed with pipes of size D500-D1500, information and communication system, fire prevention and fighting are ready to connect and serve

III. Land rental costs at Cái Mép IP

Infrastructure usage fee: 80 USD/m2/rental term
IP infrastructure maintenance fee: 0.5 USD/m2/year
Wastewater treatment fee: 0.5 USD/m3
Electricity price: According to regulations of the Ministry of Industry and Trade
Clean water price: According to regulations of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province
Note: The above unit prices do not include VAT and may change depending on the rental time

IV. Current status of investment attraction in Cái Mép IP

Currently, Cái Mép IP has leased over 150 hectares, reaching an occupancy rate of about 60% (The leased area does not include the area of 04 projects that operated before the establishment of the IP, then merged into Cái Mép IP).
