Giao Hòa Industrial Park - Bến Tre Province

I. LEGAL INFORMATION AND LOCATION OF GIAO HOA INDUSTRIAL PARK

Giao Hòa Industrial Park was approved to be added to the planning of industrial parks in Bến Tre province according to Official Dispatch No. 1352/TTg-KTN dated August 10, 2009 of the Prime Minister with an initial planned area of 270 ha. After that, the industrial park was adjusted to reduce the planned area to 249 ha (reduction of 22 ha) according to Official Dispatch No. 2628/TTg-KTN dated December 22, 2014 of the Prime Minister. The area of the industrial park is maintained according to the planning of Bến Tre province for the period 2021-2030.
On July 14, 2021, Giao Hòa Industrial Park was approved by the People's Committee of Bến Tre province for detailed construction planning at a scale of 1/2000 in Decision No. 1566/QD-UBND with a planned area of 248.51 ha, the planned location belongs to Giao Long and Giao Hòa communes, Châu Thành district, Bến Tre province. The Northeast boundary borders Giao Long Port; The Northwest borders the road to Giao Long port; The Southwest borders agricultural land and is about 400m from provincial road 883. The industrial land area for lease of the park is 181.37 ha (accounting for 72.98%)

In terms of nature, Giao Hòa Industrial Park is oriented as a multi-sectoral concentrated industrial park, attracting clean industrial projects, with low environmental pollution and high technology content such as the electricity and electronics industry, high technology; Textile, garment and footwear industry; Consumer goods manufacturing industry; Mechanical industry, production of building materials...
Regarding regional connectivity, the industrial park is located near provincial road 883 and adjacent to the Tien River and is:
- 10 km from Bến Tre city; 15 km from My Tho city
- 94 km from Hiep Phuoc port; 100 km from Cat Lai port
- 85 km from Ho Chi Minh City; 90 km from Tan Son Nhat International Airport
- Adjacent to Giao Long port

II. GIAO HOA IP INFRASTRUCTURE SYSTEM

Internal traffic road system: the main axis of the industrial park has a width of 25.5m-33m, of which the road surface is 13.5m-15m wide; the branch roads of the industrial park have a cross-sectional width of 19.5m, the road surface is 7.5m wide.

Power supply system: Giao Hòa Industrial Park is invested in building a 110KV/22KV transformer station with a capacity of 40MVA, 22KV lines are connected to each plot of land in the industrial park.

Water supply system: the production water source for Giao Hòa IP is taken from the water supply system of Bến Tre province with a supply capacity to the industrial park expected to be about 7,000 m3/day and night
Wastewater treatment system: all production wastewater in the industrial park is collected and treated at the industrial park's concentrated wastewater treatment station with a capacity of 6,000 m3/day and night, then discharged into the Tien River.
Other infrastructure utilities: Lighting system; Telecommunication system; Fire protection system; Solid waste collection system; Leveling elevation from +2.5m; Landscape green system.

III. CURRENT STATUS OF INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT IN GIAO HOA INDUSTRIAL PARK
