Tien Hai is a district which not only has the oldest industrial zone in the province but also was expanded and invested the synchronous infrastructure. From 2015, Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group brought the first gas flow from offshore of Red River to the coast, met the demand on energy in service of hi-tech projects using much fuel. With the capacity of about 200 million m3 of gas/year, the Northern Low Pressure Gas Distribution Enterprise provided to Tien Hai Industrial Zone and compressed air to industrial zones in the North for about 95% capacity of the mine, contributed to solving problem of shortage of natural gas in industrial production.

With this advantage, Tien Hai Industrial Zone is becoming a key industrial zone using gas in the North, taking gas as a base to develop and attract the investors. In addition, Tien Hai has 16 communes located in Thai Binh economic zone. This is a general economic zone including functional subdivisions such as Thai Binh Power Center; industrial zones and clusters; port and port services area urban areas, service areas; tourist areas, resorts and entertainment areas... All these areas are applied mechanisms and policies with the highest levels of encouragement and incentives under the current law. Therefore, this is also an opportunity for investors to choose Tien Hai to build the production factories.

Internal transport system:

The heart of Dong Chau road averages: + 1.16m.

The main traffic route is Dong Chau road running along with a width of 32m; roadway 14m; 9m on each side corridor including 4m sidewalk, 5m green tree strip.

Road No. 1 in the corner with Dong Chau Street runs between the industrial zone with a width of 23m; roadway 14m; sidewalks on each side 4.5m (4.5 + 14 + 4.5).

The southern boundary of the industrial zone (line 5) connects from road 221A running parallel to Dong Chau road and the western contour (line 4) separating the industrial zone and urban residential area with the width of 18.5m. : roadway of 10.5m; sidewalk on each side 4m.

Power supply for the industrial park is taken from 110KV station of Long Hau bridge. The 35KV power line to the east of the industrial zone pulls through the Long Hau River and runs along Dong Chau road and connects with the factories. 35KV power line for the west of the industrial park is pulled by underground cable through Long Hau bridge, connecting to the road No. 1, No. 6 and No. 3. Electric lighting the Industrial Park with high pressure mercury lamp.Power is supplied from national grid through 110/22KV transformer station with capacity of 63 MVA

Water supply system: Water source is salt water. In the immediate future, it can be taken from Long Hau River, but in the long term it must be taken from Tra Ly River.

The Tien Hai Industrial Park water plant was built with a capacity of 6.000 m3 / day.

Waste Water treatment system: Waste water is treated locally at each factory meeting the standard of C according to TCVN 5945-1995 standards and then collected by separate system and brought to the wastewater treatment station.

The drainage system is placed in the sidewalk and discharged to the waste water treatment area to the east of Long Hau River adjacent to the Kien Giang River to be treated to meet the standards prescribed before the area to the Long Hau River.

Solid wastes (mainly porcelain scraps, construction materials, etc.) are preliminarily classified and collected by factories and transported to landfills to the west of Long Hau river for burial.

The exhaust gas before discharging into the air must meet the requirements of concentration limits according to TCVN 5939-1995

Wastewater treatment plant is built with a capacity of 3.000m3 / day and night. Wastewater is treated locally at factories before being discharged into the general waste water drainage system of the Industrial Park.

CNG Station with capacity of 1,000,000 m3/day supplies the gas for whole Northern Vietnam
