In terms of nature, Dai Ngai Industrial Park is an important industrial park on the South Hau River economic corridor, oriented as a multi-industry industrial park, prioritizing attracting investment in clean energy production industries, renewable energy, smart energy, gas electricity, logistics, agricultural and aquatic product processing, mechanical engineering, repair...and some other environmentally friendly fields. Regarding regional connectivity, Dai Ngai IP is located:
- 22 km from the city center of Sóc Trăng
- 52 km from Can Tho city center
- 61 km from Can Tho International Airport
- About 25 km from Tran De International Port
- 230 km from Ho Chi Minh City
It is expected that after the important traffic routes in the area are completed, Dai Ngai Industrial Park will have convenient traffic connections to neighboring areas such as Tra Vinh and Hau Giang, helping to reduce the transportation time of goods and raw materials.
According to the planning of Sóc Trăng province for the period 2021-2030 approved by the Prime Minister, Dai Ngai IP has been adjusted to reduce the planned area to 196 hectares. Currently, the industrial park is still being implemented by the relevant authorities of Sóc Trăng province to carry out the necessary procedures to approve the detailed plan and attract investment.
