Trà Kha Industrial Park - Bạc Liêu Province

I. LEGAL INFORMATION AND LOCATION OF Trà Kha INDUSTRIAL PARK

Trà Kha Industrial Park was approved by the Prime Minister to be included in the development plan of industrial parks in Vietnam according to Decision No. 1107/QD-TTg dated August 21, 2006, with a planned area of 66 hectares. On November 3, 2006, the establishment of Trà Kha Industrial Park was approved in principle according to Official Dispatch No. 1782/TTg-CN of the Prime Minister with an adjusted land use area of 63.9 hectares, including more than 43 hectares of industrial land. In fact, Trà Kha Industrial Park has only been built on an area of 60 hectares due to some area problems related to the national defense area. Therefore, in the planning of Bạc Liêu province for the period 2021-2030 which has been approved, Trà Kha Industrial Park continues to have its area adjusted to 60 hectares to suit the reality.

On April 18, 2007, Trà Kha Industrial Park was approved by the People's Committee of Bạc Liêu province for detailed construction planning at a scale of 1/2000 according to Decision No. 122/QD-UBND, accordingly, Trà Kha IP is located in 8 ward, Bạc Liêu town (now Bạc Liêu city), Bạc Liêu province, adjacent to two major important traffic routes, National Highway 1A and 23/8 road connecting National Highway 1A with the center of Bạc Liêu city. The project is invested by Bạc Liêu Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Company (under the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bạc Liêu province), with a total investment of more than 285 billion VND, which started construction in 2010.
Regarding its nature, Trà Kha Industrial Park is oriented to attract investment projects in fields such as garment, beer, building materials, packaging, fertilizers...and other clean industries.
Regarding regional links, Trà Kha Industrial Park is located:
- 5 km from the center of Bạc Liêu city
- 105 km from Can Tho city
- 60 km from Ca Mau airport and 115 km from Can Tho international airport

II. INFRASTRUCTURE SYSTEM OF Trà Kha INDUSTRIAL PARK

Power supply system: the power source for production in the industrial park is taken from the national grid through 22kV lines connected to each land plot in the industrial park

Water supply system: the water source for production in Trà Kha IP is guaranteed to be supplied by Bạc Liêu Water Supply Joint Stock Company, the water supply pipeline system is arranged along traffic routes to each land plot in the industrial park.

Wastewater treatment system: According to the plan, Trà Kha Industrial Park is invested in building a centralized wastewater treatment system with a capacity of 2000 m3/day and night.
The rainwater drainage system is used in common with the drainage system of the wastewater treatment system.
Other infrastructure utilities: Telecommunications system, internal road system, fire protection system, green tree system and lighting system...

III. INVESTMENT INCENTIVES AND CURRENT STATUS OF INVESTMENT ATTRACTION AT Trà Kha IP

Projects investing in Trà Kha industrial park will enjoy corporate income tax incentives: 100% exemption of CIT for the first 02 years and 50% reduction of CIT payable for the next 04 years.
At the same time, import tax is exempted for goods and machinery on the tax incentive list imported to create fixed assets for enterprises.

Currently, Trà Kha Industrial Park has come into operation, filling more than 97% of its area, attracting 25 investment projects mainly in the fields of garment; electrical industry; beer and alcohol production; production of fertilizers and packaging; production of building materials. Typical projects operating in the industrial park include: Vinatex Garment Factory Project; Packaging production project of Minh Tri Packaging Joint Stock Company; SIBA high-tech mechanical factory project; Beer production project of Saigon Beer - Bạc Liêu Joint Stock Company (SABECO)...
