I. Overview of Phú Mỹ II Mở rộng IP
Phú Mỹ II Mở rộng IP was established under Decision No. 2504/QD-UBND dated July 25, 2008 of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province with its current location in the administrative boundaries of Tân Phước Ward and Phước Hòa, Phu My town, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. The North of the IP borders Highway 365 and other projects, the South borders planned road Phước Hòa - Cai Mep, the East borders the technical corridor of Phu My new urban area and the West borders Cai Mep IP. The operating term of Phu My 2 Extension IP is 50 years from July 25, 2008.Initially approved for planning in Decision 1704/QD-UBND dated May 20, 2008 of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, after several adjustments, Phu My 2 Extension Industrial Park currently has a total planned land area of 398.06 ha, of which the industrial land area for lease is 250.53 ha (including industrial production land and logistic service land).
PM II Extension IP is a multi-industry IP, developing port advantages, thereby focusing on attracting some fields including: Manufacturing industrial and household electrical appliances; manufacturing electronic components; manufacturing consumer chemicals, cosmetics, and industrial products; manufacturing fertilizers and microbial plant protection drugs; manufacturing high-quality leather shoes and sandals; manufacturing plastics, ceramics, glass, mechanical engineering, assembly, repair, and metallurgy.
Regarding traffic connection, Phú Mỹ II Mở rộng IP is located about 1 km from Cai Mep - Thi Vai deep-water port and is conveniently connected to key economic and political centers. Specifically:

II. Infrastructure of Phú Mỹ II Mở rộng IP
Power supply system: The production power source at Phú Mỹ II Mở rộng IP is connected from the national power grid by Tan Thanh Power Company or Ba Ria - Vung Tau Power Company. 22KV power lines are readily connected to the fence of the land tenants' factories.Clean water supply system: Connected from Toc Tien Water Plant with a capacity of 50,000 m3/day and night and the pipeline is readily connected to the fence of the land plots.
Wastewater treatment system: Phu My 2 Extension IP has invested in a centralized wastewater treatment system with a treatment capacity of 4,000 m3/day and night in phase 1.
Internal traffic system: The internal roads of the IP are from 15 m to 24 m wide (right-of-way from 31 m to 63 m), ensuring good mobility within the IP.
Industrial gas supply: Phu My 2 IP is guaranteed gas supply from the Nam Con Son gas field with large reserves, ready to connect to serve the gas demand of investors.
Other internal utilities: Information and telecommunication systems are ready to connect according to the needs of investors; Rainwater drainage systems are invested separately from wastewater drainage systems; green infrastructure is emphasized and synchronously invested.


III. Land rental costs at Phú Mỹ II Mở rộng IP and tax incentives
Infrastructure usage fee: 125 USD/m2/lease term.Annual land rental: 1,181 VND/m2 and is adjusted according to the Decision on land price list of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province
IP management and maintenance fee: 0.65 USD/m2/year and will be adjusted annually
Clean water supply fee: 12,500 VND/m3
Wastewater treatment fee: 0.4 USD/m3
Electricity price: According to the price list prescribed by the State
Internet and television price: According to the usage needs of investors

Tax incentives:
Investors in Phú Mỹ II Mở rộng IP are entitled to corporate income tax incentives with the following specific levels:
A preferential tax rate of 17% is applied in the first 10 years of the project, of which 100% of the tax is exempted for the first 02 years and 50% of the tax payable is reduced in the next 04 years.
In addition, investors are also exempt from import tax on raw materials to create fixed assets of the project. At the same time, from the investor's side, customers are also supported with investment license and business registration procedures, and are provided with free project implementation consulting.
IV. Investment attraction status at Phú Mỹ II Mở rộng IP
Currently, Phú Mỹ II Mở rộng IP has leased over 126 ha of land, the occupancy rate of the IP reaches over 46% (September 2021) with many large-scale investment projects such as the super-white float glass production factory project (total scale of 34 ha); Hoa Phat's steel and supporting factory project (not yet built) with a total scale of over 30 ha.
