Quang Chau Industrial Park was established under Decision No. 598/QD-UBND dated April 26, 2006 of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province and quickly attracted investment, filling the area of the industrial park with large projects such as Luxshare - ICT, Foxconn, JA Solar, Crytal Martin... Therefore, on February 23, 2021, the Prime Minister agreed to approve the expansion of the industrial park with a planned scale of 90 hectares in Official Dispatch No. 216/TTg-CN. The planned location of the Quang Chau industrial park expansion is in the territory of Nenh town and the communes of Quang Chau, Van Trung, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province. On November 04, 2022, the Quang Chau Industrial Park expansion was approved for investment policy in Decision No. 1320/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister with the investor being Saigon - Bac Giang Industrial Park Joint Stock Company and a total investment of 996 billion VND, the project's operating term is until February 05, 2057.

On July 19, 2023, the Quang Chau Industrial Park expansion project was approved by the People's Committee of Bac Giang province for detailed construction planning at a scale of 1/500 in Decision No. 760/QD-UBND. Accordingly, the industrial park has an exact planning area of 90.59 hectares, of which the land area for factory construction is 67.4 hectares (accounting for 74.4%). The western boundary borders the Hanoi - Lang Son expressway access road; the northern boundary borders the commune's yard and the water supply plant of Quang Chau Industrial Park; the southern and eastern boundaries border residential areas. Quang Chau Industrial Park is characterized as a multi-sectoral general industrial park, a high-tech industrial park, a low-polluting and environmentally friendly industry. At the same time, the industrial park's infrastructure is synchronously and modernly invested, connected to the existing Quang Chau Industrial Park.
Immediately after the investment policy was approved, the Quang Chau Industrial Park expansion project has attracted large investment projects, in which the Fulian Precision Technology Factory Project with a land use area of 49.6 hectares and a total investment of more than 621 million USD can be particularly mentioned.
