General overview of Long Đức Industrial Park
Trà Vinh Province is located between the Tien River and the Hau River, in the Southeast of the Mekong Delta region. It borders Ben Tre province to the North, Soc Trang province to the South, Vinh Long province to the West, and the sea to the East with a coastline of 65 km, facing the sea through 3 main river mouths: Co Chien, Cung Hau, and Dinh An. These are very favorable conditions for economic development of Trà Vinh province, especially for industrial sectors.
As of 2019, Trà Vinh province has one economic zone and 3 industrial parks, in which Long Đức Industrial Park is one of the earliest established industrial parks in Trà Vinh. Long Đức Industrial Park is located in Long Đức commune, Trà Vinh City, Trà Vinh province, planned and put into operation since 2005, with a total area of 100.6 hectares.
The infrastructure investor of Long Đức Industrial Park is Long Đức Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Company.
The fields oriented to attract investment into Long Đức Industrial Park include: high-tech projects (manufacturing materials for the printing industry, optoelectronics, precision mechanical equipment processing); investment in construction and business of industrial park infrastructure; labor-intensive projects (garment, leather shoes, bags, food processing, agricultural products) and projects such as: production of electrical wire harnesses for automobiles and motorbikes, packaging production, production of fresh concrete components and precast concrete, etc.
Geographical location and transportation
Long Đức Industrial Park is located at the convergence of both road and waterway traffic for transportation and circulation of goods: 3km from the center of Trà Vinh city, located parallel to the Co Chien River and next to Long Đức River Port, capable of docking ships with a tonnage of less than 2,000 tons; there is a road connecting to National Highway 53 across Trà Vinh city, and in the near future there will be a new road connecting directly from the industrial park to National Highways 53 and 60, shortening the distance between Soc Trang-Trà Vinh-Ben Tre provinces and Ho Chi Minh City.

Power supply system: 110kV Long Đức substation located in Long Đức Industrial Park with a capacity of 2x40MVA
Water supply system: The water plant in Trà Vinh city has a water supply capacity of 36,000 m3/day and night.
Wastewater treatment system: With a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 2000m3/day and night, applying aerobic biological technology in suspension combined with physical and chemical treatment.
Housing for workers: Social housing project in Long Đức industrial park, located in Sa Binh hamlet, Long Đức commune, Trà Vinh city, has an area of 42,300m2, of which the construction area is nearly 25,000m2. Construction scale of 08 05-story buildings, with 1,440 apartments and auxiliary works, other technical infrastructure such as: markets, schools, playgrounds, entertainment areas... The total investment for this project is about 615 billion VND and is expected to be completed and put into use in the third quarter of 2021.
