Overview of Trà Đa Industrial Park - Gia Lai

Trà Đa Industrial Park is located in the General Plan of Industrial Parks in Vietnam approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1107/QD-TTg dated August 21, 2006 on planning the development of Industrial Parks in Vietnam until 2015 and orientation to 2020. Trà Đa Industrial Park is located in Pleiku city with a total area of 213 hectares, attracting nearly 50 domestic and foreign investors, filling 100% of the area and attracting thousands of workers.

Fields prioritized for investment encouragement in the industrial park:

Group of industries processing forestry products, agricultural food products.
Group of industries producing building materials.
Group of industries manufacturing, assembling mechanical and electronic products.
Group of industries producing and processing consumer goods.

Some other industries and services not included in the above 4 industries, if encouraged by the State to invest and considered appropriate, are also encouraged to invest in the industrial park.

The formation of an industrial park and industrial park support services aims to create conditions for socio-economic development for Pleiku city in particular and Gia Lai province in general, serving as a premise for the development of functional areas of Pleiku city and surrounding areas, creating jobs, improving the lives of local workers, contributing to economic growth, successfully implementing the industrialization and modernization program, creating favorable conditions for the investment environment to develop production and socio-economic development.

Trà Đa Industrial Park was approved by the People's Committee of Gia Lai province in Decision No. 1493/QD-CT dated December 25, 2003 on approving the feasibility project of infrastructure construction of Trà Đa Industrial Park in Gia Lai province and Decision No. 616/QD-UBND dated September 16, 2011 of the Provincial People's Committee on approving the adjustment of the detailed construction plan to expand Trà Đa Industrial Park, Pleiku city, with specific contents as follows:

Investment attraction fields:

- Processing agricultural and forestry products, producing biofuels.

- Food processing industry, consumer industry.

- Processing animal feed, chemical industry, processing agricultural and forestry products.

- Mechanical engineering, electricity, electronics and low-pollution industries.

Geographical location of Trà Đa Industrial Park:

Planning location: Trà Đa commune and Bien Ho commune, Pleiku city, Gia Lai province.

- 7 km from the center of Pleiku city

- 5 km from Pleiku airport by road, 01 km as the crow flies.

- About 2 km from National Highway 19, about 4 km from National Highway 14

- 166 km from Quy Nhon Seaport

Infrastructure of Trà Đa Industrial Park:

- Transportation: The main road is 15m wide, the internal road is 7.5m wide, with a load capacity of 30 tons; directly connected to Ngo Quyen road, connected to important routes such as National Highway 19, 14.

- Power supply: National grid system

- Water supply

+Water supply source: Infrastructure Development Company of Gia Lai Provincial Economic Zone

+Exploitation capacity 2,678.4 m3/day and night, ensuring water supply for production and business investment projects

Telecommunications network ensures domestic and international communication

- Wastewater treatment

Water is treated to ensure QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT standards - National technical regulations on industrial wastewater (type B) before being discharged into the environment.

Wastewater treatment plant has been invested and built: Treatment capacity: 2,000 m3/day and night (according to design)

The Government has Official Letter No. 1590/CP-CN dated November 14, 2003 allowing the establishment of Tra Da Industrial Park in Gia Lai province, authorizing the Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Lai province to approve the investment project of Trà Đa Industrial Park.

Investment incentives of Trà Đa Industrial Park:

Enjoy a preferential tax rate of 10% for 15 years.

Exemption of tax for 04 years and a 50% reduction of corporate income tax payable in 9 years

Exemption of land rent for the entire lease term of 50 years.
