THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE ATTRACTED MORE FDI PROJECTS

Thai Nguyen is a province in the northern mountainous region. The attraction of more and more FDI projects has contributed to making Thai Nguyen province become one of the largest and most effective localities for FDI attraction in the northern mountainous provinces.

Currently, Thai Nguyen has 06 industrial parks, including Diem Thuy, Quyet Thang, Yen Binh, Nam Pho Yen, Song Cong I and Song Cong II. Industrial parks are now gradually filled with high rates such as Diem Thuy A Industrial Park (100%), Yen Binh Industrial Park (84.9%) and Song Cong I (61%). Diem Thuy A IP is the only industrial park with 100% occupancy rate as well as accounting for the highest proportion of FDI projects with 62/72 investment projects. 96 investment projects (until the end of May 2019) with a total investment of over 6.8 billion USD of many different countries (Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, ...). Especially, Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Co., Ltd. has contributed to attracting other FDI projects in the province.
