Damen Song Cam Shipyard Project

Address: Hoang Dong Commune, Thuy Nguyen District, Hai Phong City.

The Damen Song Cam shipyard complex in Thuy Nguyen, Hai Phong covers an area of 42 hectares with a total investment of 65 million euros and is a large shipbuilding industrial project with the resources of a European enterprise in Vietnam.

According to the design, the first phase of the Damen - Song Cam Shipyard includes items such as a 3,000T lifting platform; a ship finishing workshop with a capacity of 6-8 ships of all types, an administration building, etc., ensuring the completion and delivery of 40 ships/year.

Phase 2 of the factory will be completed after a few more years of construction, increasing product capacity to 80 ships/year, twice the scale of phase 1. Phase 3 will invest in a hull assembly line with a capacity of 30-40 hulls/year, in order to carry out the number of hulls beyond the capacity of Song Cam and factories in Vietnam.
