QUAN NGANG INDUSTRIAL PARK - QUANG TRI PROVINCE

1. General information about Quán Ngang IP

Quán Ngang Industrial Park, Quang Tri province was established under Decision No. 17/2008/QD-UBND dated July 21, 2008 of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province with a total planned area of 205 hectares, including two phases. In which, phase 1 of the project has an area of 139 hectares, phase 2 has an area of 66 hectares. The planning location of Quán Ngang IP is located in Gio Quang commune, Gio Linh district, Quang Tri province, the northern boundary borders Gio Chau commune, the southern boundary borders route 73 East, the western boundary borders the residential area of Gio Chau commune, Gio Linh district, the eastern boundary borders the natural drainage ditch of the area. The Management Board of Industrial Parks of Quang Tri province is assigned to implement the construction and development of Quán Ngang IP infrastructure.

In 2016, in Document No. 2095/TTg-KTN sent to the Ministry of Planning and Investment and the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, the Prime Minister decided to approve the adjustment and supplementation of Quán Ngang Industrial Park (phase 3) with an area of 116.74 hectares into the planning for industrial park development in Vietnam until 2020. Accordingly, the total planned area of ​​Quán Ngang IP planned through periods was increased from 205 hectares to 321.73 hectares with three phases.  

Located in the Southeast Economic Zone (established in 2015), Quán Ngang Industrial Park enjoys all the best investment incentives for the economic zone. Moreover, with the vision of developing Quán Ngang IP into one of the key industrial parks of Quang Tri province, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province together with the economic zone management board always prioritize the best infrastructure development opportunities to serve Quán Ngang IP.

2. Infrastructure of Quán Ngang IP

Quán Ngang Industrial Park has been fully and completely invested in technical works and infrastructure to ensure favorable implementation and operation of investment projects in the industrial park. Specifically:

Power supply system: The production electricity source in Quán Ngang IP is guaranteed by the 110 KV Quán Ngang substation with a capacity of 22,120 kVA, and to ensure a stable, uninterrupted power supply, Quang Tri Power Company has built a plan to arrange backup power connection from two 110kV E4 Dong Ha substations and 110kV E82 Vinh Linh substation.
In addition, for businesses operating in the industrial park that have a large demand for electricity, Quang Tri Power Company has arranged a plan to connect a separate transformer station to each factory as required to best serve the investor's requirements and avoid overload when connecting to the industrial park's system

Water supply system: Production water supply at Quán Ngang Industrial Park is carried out by Quang Tri Irrigation Works Management Company Limited. Water supply pipe connection activities as well as water supply capacity will be coordinated by the Water Supply Company with the Management Board of Quán Ngang IP to build in accordance with the IP's construction plan and the investor's needs.  
Wastewater treatment system: After many years of operation without a centralized wastewater treatment plant, causing environmental pollution problems, by 2017, Quán Ngang Industrial Park started construction of the industrial park's centralized wastewater treatment system phase 1 with a designed capacity that can treat 3000 m3/day. When completed, the project is expected to completely overcome the situation of environmental pollution caused by factories operating in the IP.

3. Investment incentives and land lease costs at Quán Ngang IP

Investors leasing land at Quán Ngang IP to implement investment projects will enjoy all the investment incentive policies of the economic zone. Specifically, for new investment projects and expanded investment projects here, they will enjoy a corporate income tax rate of 10% for 15 years, including tax exemption for the first 04 years and 50% of the tax payable in the next 09 years. The time of calculating incentives is from the time the enterprise has taxable revenue or from the fourth year from the date the project goes into operation. In addition, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province also offers many policies to support and encourage investment such as labor recruitment, land lease incentives...
