Giao Long Industrial Park - Bến Tre Province

I. LEGAL INFORMATION AND LOCATION OF Giao Long INDUSTRIAL PARK

Giao Long Industrial Park was established under document No. 284/TTg-CN dated March 22, 2005 by the Prime Minister with an initial phase scale of 96.3 hectares, invested with a total investment of VND 141.39 billion, of which the budget support capital is VND 89.050 billion. On April 04, 2008, the Prime Minister agreed in principle to allow the expansion of Giao Long Industrial Park with an area of 68 hectares according to Official Dispatch No. 515/TTg-CN, raising the total scale of the project for both phases to 164.3 hectares, at the same time, Giao Long Industrial Park was added to the planning of industrial parks in Vietnam until 2020. According to the planning of Bến Tre province for the period 2021-2030 approved by the Prime Minister, Giao Long Industrial Park is expected to be expanded in phase III with a scale of 50.8 hectares.
The Giao Long Industrial Park project has the investor as the infrastructure development company of Bến Tre Industrial Parks, which is implemented at the planned location in An Phước commune, Châu Thành district, and started construction of phase I infrastructure in 2005 and phase II in 2012. On May 26, 2008, the Bến Tre Provincial People's Committee approved the detailed plan at the ratio of 1/2000 of Giao Long Industrial Park (phase II) in Decision No. 988/QD-UBND.

II. INFRASTRUCTURE SYSTEM OF Giao Long INDUSTRIAL PARK

Water supply system: the clean water source for production at Giao Long Industrial Park is guaranteed to be supplied by Bến Tre Province Water Supply and Drainage Co., Ltd. Wastewater treatment system: all production wastewater in the industrial park must be treated to meet column C standards before being discharged into the centralized wastewater treatment station of the industrial park and continue to be treated to column A standards before being discharged into the environment. The capacity of the wastewater treatment system reaches 6,000 m3/day and night, of which the phase I capacity is 2,000 m3/day and night.

III. LAND RENTAL COSTS AND INVESTMENT INCENTIVES AT Giao Long INDUSTRIAL PARK
